Background of the Study
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are vital to the economic growth of Katsina-Ala LGA. Tax compliance is an essential aspect of business operations, as it influences a company’s relationship with tax authorities and its reputation among stakeholders. SMEs that maintain good tax compliance are more likely to benefit from public services, business incentives, and a positive business environment, which in turn can positively affect their financial performance.
